Intuition

One of the first routes I discovered in Kriens was this one. So I was optimizing it for several months. There are several routes upwards Mount Pilatus. It is possible to follow the cycling or hiking paths. First milestones are Krienseregg or Naturfreundehaus. From there the ways lead further upwards to Fräkmüntegg via Mülimäs. Don’t be surprised by the people screaming and shouting doing balance exercises a few meters above you at the rope park. A few meters further is a summer toboggan run with a beautiful view direction north east over Bürgenstock to Rigi. Around the corner is a nice farm called Alp Bonere with a wonderful view direction north west over Sursee to the Black Forrest and the Vosges. From Fräkmüntegg you follow the hiking trail to Alp Gschwänd with a view over the lake of Zug. The way downwards from there to Rengg along a brook is a bit tricky. Also the decent climb up the Renggpass. But some people are carrying bikes over it. On the other side you will enjoy an amazing view direction Bürgenstock, Bouchser- and Stanserhorn.  Airbase Alpnach is one of my favorite finishs, since you already see it from miles away and are nearly flying downhill towards it. From the runway you can look back to where you came from. Sometimes cows are licking and massaging your feet there. There is also a new app for the routes along the lake.
